PLANNER 2027 — 20-YEAR ANNIVERSARY EDITION
ONCE UPON TODAY
2027 marks the planner’s 20th anniversary—an opportunity to celebrate its experimental spirit.
In this release, the focus turns inward. It features a series of true stories from behind the scenes. Some are light, while others reveal the challenges and occasional mistakes behind the project. Each is paired with a simple prompt—small invitations to reflect on ideas, habits, and personal projects.
For this edition, the cover features a soft gradient between two colors, suggesting a transition between past and future. Staying true to the planner’s experimental voice developed over two decades, colors are subtly adjusted or introduced during the print run, resulting in gently shifting gradients. Offered as a curated mix of color transitions, each copy remains slightly unique.
With space for to-do lists or thoughts on the left page, it remains a practical companion—with a few unexpected moments along the way.
UNIQUE COVER CONCEPT
The cover is produced using a split-fountain printing technique, in which multiple colors are placed directly in the ink fountain to create continuous gradients across the sheet.
During the print run, colors may be subtly adjusted or introduced, allowing for evolving transitions and more nuanced combinations. Rather than a fixed result, the edition is conceived as a curated mix of covers spanning a range of color variations—each one slightly different.
