‘Eating with Friends was conceived as an idea during the months of the pandemic. It was a time people would find comfort in cooking, making bread and watching on social media what other people around the world were eating while in confinement. We thought that making a book with stories about food from our friends and recipes from people and restaurants we love would give a feeling of hope, a sense of normality much missed during lockdown and an optimism for the days that will come, when we will be able to share a table again with the ones we love and have missed.’
